Mr. Sunder Pandey, President of Blue Mountain Travels and Tours (P) Ltd and Blue Mountain Tours & Travel, LLC

Mr. Pandey was born in Nepal and has spent most of his life there. He has been in the tourism industry for the last 18 years. He has personally explored each and every place where he takes his tours and established many personal connections that help make Blue Mountain Tours so special. Mr. Pandey loves nature, adventure, travel, learning about local customs and people, and working to make the life better for people that he meets whenever possible. These are the passions that motivated him to begin a travel company all those years ago. He was educated in Nepal as well the University of Japan (Bunkyo University). He is currently an advisor to the Village Tourism Promotion Forum in Nepal which works to help those Nepalese living in remote villages by encouraging tourism. Mr. Pandey is also chairman of the charitable organization, Nepal Environment, Education, and Development (NEED). NEED works to prevent deforestation, to improve sanitation, and to promote education in Nepal. It provides educational scholarships for needy people as well as generates jobs and works on other development projects. As a traveler with Blue Mountain, you will be supporting the important work of NEED as well and giving something back to the communities which you visit.
 

Mr. Pandey has well-trained, qualified business partners located in Nepal who continue to oversee every detail of the tours and travel plans, including Mr. Ishwor Pandey, Regional Director of Blue Mountain Travels and Tours (P) Ltd . Additionally, Mr. Pandey still personally oversees every Blue Mountain tour and he travels to Nepal and other parts of Asia for several months a year building and maintaining his connections to the region. He currently resides with his wife, Vicki Toscano, and daughter, Isabella, in Florida, USA.

Ms. Toscano was born and has lived all of her life in the U.S. She is an avid traveler and has visited many countries, including Nepal. Her interest in providing quality tours to Americans and others traveling to Asia was inspired by her first tour of Nepal. The remote beauty and wonderful spirit of the Nepalese people encouraged Ms. Toscano to dedicate some of her time to bringing in travelers to Nepal and working to help better the economic situation of the people. She founded Blue Mountain Tours and Travel, LLC with her husband, Sunder Pandey, to help achieve this goal. Ms. Toscano also teaches philosophy and legal studies at Nova Southeastern University located in Florida, USA. She currently resides in Florida with her husband and daughter, Isabella.
